Selling International- get the lingo right

Selling internationally can be a profitable way to expand your little slice of e-bay pie.  Let’s face it, it’s a great way to increase your exposure and your client base.   If you choose to sell internationally, it’s inevitable that you will find a buyer who speaks poor English– and often this doesn’t surface until it’s time to way.  So what do you do?

Perhaps the simplest thing is to access an online translation engine like babblefish.com and translate all of your correspondence.  If you choose to do this, be sure that in your correspondence you are clear to the customer that you are using a translation program.  This will explain any missed meanings or translations.
